Read the rest of the information on your time, but it's your basic sport theme anime expect all the characters are female and that the special moves consist of placing objects on the board dramatically. Lets break the anime down.
First the animation is something which you would expect from after the 2000 period; it's nothing special but then again you're not going to cry every time you a episode of this anime. Being that it was from the studio Gonzo (VANDREAD, HELLSING, FULL METAL PANIC and SAIKANO) you would expect to have a good combination of comedy and drama throughout it.
Moving on, the soundtrack is what you would call average; not terrible but not mind-blowing either. What you would what from an anime such as this, is something which would get the blood pumping when the mood and tone becomes intense but also be able to carry on the story because constantly pushing out that sort of music all the time is not good for the heart. None the less the opening music will instantly give you a cheery sort of feel.
Generally there are no expectations when coming into watching this sort of films but just be aware that this is sport anime full of female characters, which means there is a hot spring scene hidden somewhere, which shows the mainstream fan service needed in order to satisfy the extreme end of anime watchers. Overall taking into account the music, voice acting and general animation, this anime would be good for those individuals that want to watch an average sort of film that wouldn't make you too disappointed.
